Introduction

The OpenVMS EDT Editor Keybinding module offers the convenience of EDT keypad functionality by updating NetBeans' global keymap with the keybindings used by the standard EDT Editor for OpenVMS. This is done while maintaining the full range of NetBeans functionality. The module may be used in the following ways:

When running NetBeans natively on OpenVMS.
When using a PC as an X Window display device (while running NetBeans on OpenVMS).
On non-OpenVMS platforms where NetBeans is using Java 2 SDK 1.4.0 or later.
