I've played around with JFreeChart and took a look at this complib too - it's auspicious, especiallly when you tried the Servlet samples of JFreeChart and wanting to combine them with the map/usemap functionality.

In a Servlet/JSP solution you have to write some boilerplate code, especially for the include/forward mechanism. With this JSF-Component you can drag and drop the component, bind some properties and ... that's all.

I must confess that I've taken only a short test with it - but this complib is worth trying it.
