Basic Functionality is difficult achieve.
It has numerous features, most of which are not required by average user like myself. Setting the date and getting it back is very difficult.
So I removed this and use another similar one, with simple functions like .getDate() and .setDate(). http://max-server.myftp.org/jcalendar/ibuild/jcalendar-1.4.1.v201109071408.zip

DateChooser is nice but..
Hi guys, the DateChooser is working partly find for me. it can pick the required date but dates appear invisible on the calender and it forces one to blindly choose a date. Can someone help me to make dates on the datechooser to be visible on the calender.

The Plugin is Excellent
I had the idea about building a similar plugin for my application. I then recalled that someone might have built it already. I jumped into NetBeans Plugin Portal and wow it is in. I was glad to see it. Thanks a bunch for this plugin. I saved me from re-inventing the wheel. It is perfect.

Time Selection Component
Hi,
This is very useful component, but I think time selection should also be given in this component with enable and disable flag. i.e. Use should be able to choose if he wants to show Only calendar, Only clock or Both calendar and clock.

Must HAve Feature in Development
This is a must have component in your "Only IDE" if you are really into development. I am using this for 2months and really feeling the importance of it. I rather say, it is really good, if the NetBeans team can embed this as a component in their component library in NetBeans.

Another sigh of relif
i have downloaded now this plug-in and glad to have this one. I almost lose my hope when i saw the other calendar plug-in here with a "price" listed on it, it was like the opposite of the word "free"(actually, it is lol).
I am a college student here in Quezon City, Philippines and currently doing my thesis work using java. i hope there's more coming on your next update on this plug-in. MORE POWER ON YOUR PROJECT!

Needed Feature
I just downloaded this plug-in and do some observation. As I compare to Calendar Component for me, JDateChooser is better.
But, there is one request I need. I hope this feature will implement on your next version. What I looking for is to customize the date format. For example if I want a date looks like "01/22/2009" or like "2009-01-22". I can specify my own date format I want. I think this is just a simple feature but I know it will help to others not just me. By the way, I am Felix Rendon from Surigao City, Mindanao Philippines. Thank you so much and I am looking forwarding more beautiful feature(s) come.
