Introduction

  1. Install this plugin.

  2. Open the New Project wizard and create the Samples > Java > Ticker Demo:

  3. Once created, compile the two classes in the project:

  4. Right-click "JTicker.java" and choose Tools > Add to Palette.

The JTicker should now be in the Palette so that you can drag and drop it into a Swing container, like JFrame or JPanel:

I created this plugin in 6.1 Beta. There's a possibility that it won't install in any earlier IDE.
