Introduction

With this plugin you can create scratch files which will created in memory. You don't need a project for this. After typing Ctrl + Alt + Shift + N you can select File -> Save as... to save the file to any location wherever you want.

No special reason

The only reason was that I removed all old packages and installed the new Java 8 on my machine. So no there was no special reason to create it with Java 8. If you think that this will be an enhancement, please create a bug ticket at the github repo. Thx :)

Java 8 requirement

Any specific reason Java 8 is required?
In some corporate environments 7 is still the only option.

"Save All" should be disabled before first "Save As..."

If I create a new file in memory and edit its content, I can "File > Save All" even though nothing is actually saved.

For save as please do a shortcut...

Unfortunately it is not possible to have 2 different functionalities for the normal save logic. So that means, that you have to add a shortcut to "Save As" (for me Ctrl + Alt + S; Ctrl + Alt + S) and then you can save the file whereever you want and change the name and extension.
