Introduction

This plug-in adds a function that allows you to copy the current location of the caret to the clipboard, in the following format: "[lineNumber]:[fileName].[fileType]".

It also enables you to copy the current location of the caret to the clipboard in this format (added in v1.1): "[columnNumber]:[lineNumber]:[fileName].[fileType]".

So for example if your caret is on line 13 in file 123.java, then it will copy this value to the clipboard: "13:123.java".

Though if you use the feature which also gives the column number, then if we say that the caret is on line 13 in file 123.java and the caret is located in column number 16 of the line then the value copied to the clipboard would look as follows: "16:13:123.java".

You can copy the current location of the caret in the editor without the value of the column by going "Edit > Copy Line Address/Location (Standard)" or "Ctrl + Alt + L". If you would prefer the value with the column, then you will need to simply go "Edit > Copy Line Address/Location (+Column)" instead or "Ctrl + Alt + N".
You will see that there is a little logo next to the "Copy Line Address/Location" button with a little "R" on it. This stands for "Route", as you will be copying the "Route" of the line that you are pointing to.
