Introduction

This plugin aims to to enable the same workflow for JavaFX rapid GUI design as is available today for Swing (Matisse). To provide a design view on FXML files, a new multiview is provided by this plugin using the JavaFX Scene Builder Kit.

Currently available features:

  • Most of the ui elements from Scene Builder are available in menu Window/Scene Builder and are working as expected.
  • To use the plugin do not open FXML files, but select edit from context menu. Open still opens external Scene Builder.

Excelente Projeto

Feature request

Hi, very nice! I have a few suggestions for future release improvements:

1. Besides the Design and Source buttons I would also like a Controller button that let's you access the event handling code.

2. Once a FXML has been opened switching between Source and Design is very slow because Scene Builder is initialized all over again. Maybe you can keep it open?

3. When switching back to Source mode not all windows are activated that were active before such as the Project Window. It would be nice if sets everything back to how it was.

I like it. Thanks!
