Introduction

DukeScript is a lightweight rendering technology allowing coding in Java and rendering via HTML/CSS. The application can then be packaged to run in a browser, on a phone or as an IDE plugin. Minesweeper for NetBeans shows how easy such packaging is. Install into your IDE or play on-line.

Source for minesweeper demo

Source for the minesweeper demo is in
http://source.apidesign.org/hg/html~demo/
repository. Just clone it and it should work.

More information about DukeScript is available at
http://dukescript.com

In case of more questions, feel free to write to my netbeans.org address directly.

looking forward to a DukeScript plugin

Hi, while I'd like to see the demo work. I am more interested in seeing an actual DukeScript plugin or (better-er) a maven plugin to integrate DukeScript.

In the meantime; is the source for the demo about some place, so we can play with DukeScript for ourselves, pending better integration?

Very nice demonstration

The newer version (1.2) installs and runs well. Thanks

Working on 1.2 version to fix the issues

I am sorry for your troubles. We are tracking the issue as https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=243865 now. I have a fix (attached NBM file to the bug), and I plan to update the NBM file on the portal later today.

Would like to try it, but...

After installing through the update center, NetBeans 8 fails to start. It hangs at starting modules. One must remove one's user directory to get NetBeans to start. This is very disappointing.
