Introduction

This module provides a generic whitespace highlighter for consistent display when using the "Show Non-printable Characters" option in the IDE. All tab and space characters are shown according to the "Whitespace" color option, and newline characters are made invisible.

A must have

I had totally missed this plug-in because it's no longer available in Update Center and it hasn't been updated in 4 years thus doesn't show up in the front page or Plugin Portal but I can confirm that:

1.- It still works in NetBeans/8.2 development .

2.- It's awesome.

It works as advertised and fixes one of the several basic editing issues the IDE has never really sorted out. It hides the EOL and EOF markers, represented by the same symbol, which have never been useful anyway, and it displays other whitespace characters using always the same colour.

Better than wait for the fix for the colors of whitespaces.

It ignores the paragraph marks on the end of the lines and change the color of the whitespaces.

Because the colors of the whitespaces are WHITE and that makes reading the code very hard depending on the color you have set on the background also.

Thank you guys <3
