Codavi is a documentation platform where you can separately manage your comments from your code. Comments will be stored separately from source code and only a url or tag in the source code will provide a link to the actual contents of the comments. The comments will be stored in the cloud and be accessed by any browser or system which can use its API.
Codavi will extend the basic commenting features by allowing the following:
- No more clutter in the source code by adding comments - the source code will include only the source code and a url or tag to link to the comments
- Since the comments/documentation will be stored online, text, images, audio, video, and any other type of digital content can be added in the comment.
- Restricting access to the documentation.
