Introduction

What is Markdown?

Markdown is a text-to-HTML conversion tool for web writers. Markdown allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML).

pegdown reached EOL

Apparently, "pegdown has reached its end of life."

"The project is essentially unmaintained with tickets piling up and crucial bugs not being fixed."

A must-have +1

I use that plug-in every day to check wheter my markdown files look well as html. The plug-in works with Netbeans 8.2 without problems *).

Please verify it for Nb 8.2 so we can install it via Tools -> Plugins!

*) Environment: Debian GNU/Linux 8.6

A must-have

Great extension, the 8.0 version works fine on Nb 8.1, authors should probably think of providing official build for it though.

Thank you!

Great plugin, love the view HTML option. This should be in the plugin list!

You should request a validation to have this put into the plugin portal in the IDE

If you sign your npm, it can be self signed which is what I do, and upload the binary, then once you request a validation, then someone will review it. They may offer feedback as to some things you need to do before it can be included in the plugin portal. Then when it is successfully verified people can find it from the Tools/Plugins menu and dialog inside of NetBeans. I think many people will find this useful and find it easier that way. Thanks so much for your plugin!
