What's new in this version
Small fixes, e.g., project structure and now the file is in the default package.
Verifications for NetBeans versions
Plugin is not subject to any verification
Creates a new Groovy project, that is, a project with a Groovy script, Groovy 2.0.1, and build script for compiling the project to .class files and JAR. When project "Build" menu item is invoked, JAR is created in 'dist' folder (in Files window), when "Run" menu item is invoked, project is deployed.

Pure Groovy Project in NetBeans
I use NetBeans 8.2 IDE.
Recently got interested in Groovy.
Saw that my IDE has version 1.34.1 of the Groovy plugin. Wanted to try it out, by developing some simple app.
But when I try to create a new NetBeans project, and select Groovy as the Category, I find only 'Grails Application" listed in the Projects list. I do not see "Groovy Project", as in the above screenshot of yours.
I didn't want to get into the complexities of Grails right now. I just wanted to develop a simple Groovy app in NetBeans. How do I get the "Groovy" type to show up in NetBeans while creating a new Project? Could you help me please?
Thanks very much.
