Re: External Edit not working

Hi Rob,

we double checked this and it works fine for us on Mac OS X. If you can reliably reproduce it, please file a new bug against Profiler/IDE [1] with detailed steps to reproduce beginning with step 1: Lauch IDE with empty userdir.

External Edit not working

Not sure if anybody is monitoring this, but on Mac OSX, the "External Edit" does nothing.

Looking in my ~/Library/Application Support/NetBeans/8.1/modules/jmeter/bin folder, the shell files are not marked as executable, so I chmod'd them, and was able to run the editor manually.

Not seeing anywhere that I can set the external editor, and no related exceptions in the logs that I can see.

Any helpful hints or workarounds ?

JMeter plugin sources

I see. The sources are available here:

http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/file/tip/o.apache.jmeter.kit
http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/file/tip/o.apache.jmeter.module

To clone the repository consult this FAQ:

http://wiki.netbeans.org/HgHowTos#Getting_a_working_copy:_cloning_the_NetBeans_repository

Hope this helps.

Plugin

'what do you need the sources for?'
Well, I thought that this plugin were under a CDDL licence thus open source. That philosophy says that I could improve more the plugin, learn about the code, and maybe fix some bug if it occurs.

Re: Plugin sources

Hello Nestor,

what do you need the sources for? You can download and install the plugin directly from NetBeans IDE 8.0 using "Tools > Plugins > Available Plugins".

Hope this helps,

Plugin sources

Last time I waited long time for this plugin in NB 8.0, please refer a link for the sources in order to compile the plugin

Re: Plugin validation

Yes, the plugin contains an eager module which gets always enabled when its dependencies are satisfied. This module then activates all other depending modules. We tried to address this but wasn't successful. Please approve the verification request. Thanks.

Plugin validation

Hi,
we can uninstall only, we can't deactivate this plugin. Is it normal?
Thx.
