Cannot figure out how it works on Netbeans 8.0.2 Windows 8

Hi! Can you give me a hand with the usage of the plugin? I configured everything:
1. Installed the plugin
2. Installed Phing
3. Referred to phing.bat in the configuration tab.

But I don't know how to run it from Netbeans.
If I run it from console the build works fine. I don't know how to do it directly from Netbeans.

Thanks!!

Problems in Windows platform

Hi vralfy,

I'm trying to use the PhingKing plugin with Netbeans 8.0 in a Windows platform, but I don't get to execute the phing targets. I follow the three steps you point in the introduction:
1) Tools>Options>PHP -> C:\Users\ia\Downloads\phing-2.10.1\bin\phing
2) Project Properties>PhingKing>Build File -> C:\Users\ia\Documents\NetBeansProjects\PractiquesPHPUnit\build.xml
(I copy pasted this build file from https://www.phing.info/trac/browser/docs/example/build.xml?rev=e1a3b0a82597dc1e5ebd0d21219efb7f3b5cf188)
3) Finally, when I open the Phing Targets window I see a directory structure such as:
Targets:
Favorites
but it is empty.

Can you help me with that?
Thanks in advance

Default value for phing executable

aah I see what was wrong. When the plugin was installed I opened "Tools -> Options -> PHP -> PhingKing" and found a default path for "phing executable".

Not sure how this default path was populated, but changing it to my correct path to phing made it work.

Now my targets show correctly in the phingking window and I'm able to run the targets.

BTW could you plz take a look at this:

Re: About the plugin

Look in to the "Introduction" in the upper right corner under the download box.

The plugin should give you the capability to run phing targets right from your Netbeans IDE.

There is a bug on Windows platforms i am currently working on. But it works fine for me on Linux platforms.

About the plugin

I installed the plugin, but I'm not sure what it actually does. Does it allow me to run phing from Netbeans or what?

Maybe a brief overview of the plugin capabilities could do everyone a big favor.
