Introduction

The GWT4NB project aims to enable developers to take advantage of both: the superior support for creating Web Applications built into the NetBeans IDE and the power of GWT (Google Web Toolkit). Provided functionality includes: - Using GWT with new or existing Web Projects - Deployment, running and debugging GWT-enabled Web Apps using arbitrary Application Server - Assistance to deal with some code editing nuances such as creating RPC services efficiently Project Home Page: http://github.com/ksfreitas/gwt4nb/

GWT 2.6 Glassfish bug

Dear Olet, this is not a plugin bug. Look follow: https://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=8590

GWT 2.6 is now working

Dear all

After the last update of GWT4NB it is now possible to generate a deployable war file with GWT 2.6.0 - to Tomcat.
Thanks to Cássio (ksfreitas :-)
If you try to deploy to Glassfish (that installs by default with Netbeans) it fails.
It seems to be an error related to Glassfish "own" implementation of the guava library.
There exists a GWT friendly guava (guava-gwt.jar). Maybe someone out there is able to integrate this in Glassfish/GWT.

Regards
Ole

GWT 2.6 support not working

Dear all

GWT4NB works very fine and can be recomended with Netbeans 7.4 and GWT 2.5.1 - but does NOT work with GWT 2.6.0 as stated above.

Plugin causes the Subversion plugin malfunction

Hi,

I reported this issue https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=238639 some days ago. Then I realized that the real cause is GWT4NB plugin.
The affected files are always GWT module descriptors (*.gwt.xml) and only they. They stay marked as modified even when they are up to date actually.
Seems like the GWT4NB plugin in handling some event and does not propagate this event up to the IDE. Of course the reason could be totally different, it is only my first thought.

Thanks for your attention,
Marek

Plugin Doesn't show in Update Center

This plugin does not show in the update center for NB 7.4. At least not for me.

Requires additional plugins

This plugin requires additional plugins that don't appear to be in this database. It would be helpful very to provide an install guide.
