Introduction

Adds a 'Copy Formatted' option to the menubar. The formatted text is copied as RTF. The binary may not work in future versions of NetBeans. If that's the case, simple Git-clone the source code and build the plugin yourself (no changes required).

Re

Thx.

Have you sent a message to the NetBeans webmaster (http://netbeans.org/about/contact_form.html?to=1) for this problem ?

As expected

Yes, again: you need to git clone and rebuild it for every version due to an implementation dependency.

I would upload a newer binary, but the website doesn't allow me to choose versions over 7.0.

can't install on NB 7.2.1

Too, we can't install the plugin on NB 7.2.1. Here is the error message :

Some plugins require plugin Editor Library 2 to be installed.
The plugin Editor Library 2 is requested in implementation version 31. The following plugin is affected:       Formatted Text Copy

Could you take a look at this ? Thx.

Editor Library 2 issue reappeared

The plugin worked well under NetBeans 7.2 until last NetBeans update. Now the plugin will not install because of the Editor Library 2 dependency issue. Could not find any workaround.

It crushes NetBeans modules loading on start

Just that, after install this plugin and restart the IDE, NetBeans crushes and shows a warning to disable some modules that are not ok after update.

Git it

Yes, that is the expected behaviour because of an implementation dependency.
There is a simple workaround for this, however:
Just do a Git clone in NetBeans from https://github.com/svanimpe/Formatted-Text-Copy.git. You can compile and install the plugin without any changes, I am running it this way on 7.2 as well.

I will post a binary as soon as 7.2 is out.

Cannot install on NB 7.2 RC1

Exactly the same message than the previous comment:

Some plugins require plugin Editor Library 2 to be installed.
The plugin Editor Library 2 is requested in implementation version 25. The following plugin is affected:       Formatted Text Copy

Cannot install it.
