Great

The plugin is very good!
I'm expecting a version compatible with development builds of NetBeans 7.4.

downgrading to 12.09

Hello ent38, thanks for your feedback, I updated the plugin because I added the funciionality for working with the files within the libraries, but obviously there is something wrong and need more testing. So i am reuploading the 12.09 version and will reupload the fixed one when everything works. I will test it on your environment.
Anyway, if you want to help me I opened a bug here:

Thanks

Pb with Alt-1 and Alt-2 buttons/shortcuts

Hi,
I have a problem with the two first buttons : "Open in the default OS terminal" (or Alt-1) and "Open in the OS file system browser" (or Alt-2).
I select a file or a folder (or a class / package in the Projects view), but I always get the following error message :

"There are no files associated with the current selection."

Nothing relevant in the logs.
Tested on NetBeans 7.2.1 with JDK6u37 and JDKu9. Fresh installs and profiles.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.2.1 (Build 201210100934)
Java: 1.7.0_09; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 23.5-b02
System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
User directory: C:\Java\__prefs__\7.2.0_jdk7_userdir
Cache directory: C:\Java\__prefs__\7.2.0_jdk7_cachedir

Any idea ?
Other functionalities work fine.

Thx.

Netbeans is not as effective without this

I am always in need of this feature and have been looking for this feature on Netbeans and was quite surprised it doesn't come as part of Netbeans by default after searching for hours. This plugin has been a great tool to have and I can't do without it.

Awesome tool. Great work! Thank you.

Extremely useful

Very good plugin. I will agree, this functionality should come with netbeans out of the box. It seems odd that they don't include this. Glad this plugin fills the gap.

This must go in standard netbeans installation!

Best extension there is! Seriously. Once you try this explorer extension you will never need another.

very nice... saves you a lot of time

saves you a lot of time and clicks to discover the path of the files. really like the commands too

An absolute must-have add-on!

This add-on allows you to quickly switch to a command line or to a file system explorer, or even to run custom commands on your files. Pretty cool!
