Tested with Linux and Cygwin generated tars and gz
Whatever the Apache Compress library handles should be OK. Well, to a degree since the library offers more functionality than is supported by the plugin.

problem with TAR
Hi,
Works fine with GZ, but cannot open TAR archives.
A screenshot : http://tof.canardpc.com/view/5446e975-7978-4bda-88e2-7b0569925a90.jpg
Nothing in Netbeans logs.
Archives created with 7-Zip 9.20 on Win XP SP3 X86.
Any idea ?
Thx.
[edit]
Archives created with TugZip 3.5.0.0 are recognized by your plugin.
Probably a bug with Apache Commons Compress or 7-Zip ?
[edit]
Okayyy, TAR archives created with 7-Zip cannot be opened by TugZip :)
It's probably a bug with 7-Zip.
