Does this work with NetBeans 7.1.2?

Does this plugin work with NetBeans 7.1.2?

I'm seeing a "ConectarContacto() null" error when trying to add a new contact. Thanks!

Connectar() connection is not authenticated when Activate Plugin

Another unexpected behavior.
I deactivated the plugin with an invalid account set up on it.
When you reactivate the plugin it will automatically try to connect again and, because it has an invalid account, fails.

Maybe it shouldn't connect automatically just after reactivating the plugin, but that's just my opinion.

no critical issues so i will give it a go.

messages when no or invalid account selected

Hi there,

Not sure if those are really "bugs", but just for your info I found some unexpected behaviors during my plugin verification tests:

When you do not enter any account (empty) and you go to the chat window and change the status dropdown list.

When you select Available you get the following error message:

Error
AvailableStatus() null

When it is Busy you get:

Error
Estatus null

And When it is Away you get:

Error
Estatus null

If you enter an invalid account (i.e. test@test) and change the Status again

When you select Available it does nothing.

When you select Busy

Error
Estatus Not connected to server.

And the same error message for Away

I'm testing in NB 7.1.2 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with JDK 7

Cannot install with JDK6

Hi,

the plugin cannot be installed if NB runs with JDK6 :

Some plugins require the Java platform in version Java > 1.7
The Java platform version Java > 1.7 was requested but only 1.6 is running. The following plugin is affected:       javscazGChat

Is it possible to compile the plugin with Java6 ?
Thx.

PS: I'm having the same problem as Carlos => an Unhandled NPE ( I've uploaded my messages.log to http://netbeanscolors.org/files/netbeans-logs/messages_20120528.log )

Unhandled exception just after installing

hi avbravo
I just installed your plugin and got an unhandled exception after closing the options screen.

Steps:
1. installed
2. a message box appeared
3. the options screen with the GChat tab selected opened
4. look at the fields
5. press ok
At this point the main IDE showed a Red Icon in the status bar: Unexpected Exception - java.lang.NullPointerException

If you open the options > GChat again the message doesn't appear anymore.
Test Env Details: NB 7.0.1 Win7 64 bit JDK 1.7

Poor English localisation

Aristides, do you plan to fully translate the plugin into English anytime soon? There are still many Spanish words left here and there.
