Introduction

This plugin allows you to upload files to a ftp server directly from Netbeans. Was designed and is particularly usefull for upload changes to a Java (jsp, class files) or PHP website. The connection data are stored in a xml file created in the root of the project. For the Java projects, source files are taken from the directory 'build'. The contributions to the project are welcome. You can download sources Sourceforge.

Works for me

While I'm still looking for a better free FTP client than FileZilla, I don't mind one bit being able to upload a file with a right-click and choosing FTP Upload. What is crucial, and better than the JEdit counterpart, is that you can specify a root directory. I've been using Netbeans to develop PHP websites for a while now, and never have used the main project feature - but doing it this way doesn't get in the way.

One feature I'd like to see: multi-select files and upload them to FTP. Not crucial, but there are times where it would be more convenient.

Great! Just needs a keyboard shortcut..

This is really handy, I recently lost all my remote connection data so will be using this from now on.

The only thing missing that would be a huge help is a keyboard shortcut or some form of automation.
