Visual Db Explorer 1.3a - plugin detail
This version has added the check constraints for Oracle Databases and expanded the descriptions for the columns. To use it: simply click on the database connection. Go to the Tools menu and select the Database Structure. A popup window will open and ask for the schema (a drop down list will give you the list of available schemas - then select the table (also in a drop down list). There is an option to display all tables (this will over-ride the table selection) - the Include only child option will use the base table and select only the children of the table and the Include related table option which will look for both parent and children to the selected table. This module depends on relationships (foreign and primary keys) in the database. If they are not present - no relationships will be found and hence only the selected table will appear. This will invalidate the child and related table options. In addition, no relationships will be available in the all tables option. Good database design is encouraged! Version a has deleted the default values "COLUMN_DEF" (apparently not everyone supports this feature the same way - It caused issues with Oracle)
