Error with language ID.
Calc-Addin function created with this plugin uses a wrong language ID for Ukrainian: "ua" (must be "uk": uk-UA). UA is the country ID, while "uk" is the language ID (not "ua"). Please, also, can you add more languages to the languages menu of this plugin?

Re: Integration into Mac OS X
well i agree that the developer snapshot of the SDK is not easy to find. I will try to solve it asap. Anyway you can find a SDK for example under http://ftp.rz.tu-bs.de/pub/mirror/OpenOffice.org/extended/developer/DEV300_m27_SDK/
You have to install the SDK somewhere on your disk and configure it in the normal way as the office in the options dialog. Sorry for the pure download experience.

Integration into Mac OS X
How should the integration into Netbeans 6.1 on Mac OS X work? Should one simply enter "/Applications/OpenOffice.org 3.0.app" as the place of installation; and what should be entered for the SDK, since there is no version available for Mac OS X. Is it necessary at all to enter this SDK path or is it already included into OO 3.0 on Mac (Aqua Version)?
Thanks for your help!

Re: Trouble with OpenOffice.org API Plugin ...
Hi, sometimes we have trouble with the SDK coming with a distro. The Debian folks did some special work with the tools and used scripts to run the original binaries. I thought we had fixed this but maybe it's a new problem. Try it out with an SDK downloaded from www.openoffice.org directly. You can install it everyhwere. I will check the Debian version asap.
Anyway with OO.org 3.0 the structure of the office will change and the SDK becomes an optional part of the office. With this changes it becomes obsolete to use this hacks and the SDK tools can be used in a shell directly without further scripts, changes or whatever. And our plugin will support it from the beginning ... By the way a new version 1.1.3 that solves (at least minimized) the annoying editor problem will be available later this week or next week.

Solved
My bad :-D
I had to use native debian /usr/lib/openoffice/sdk as SDK installation.

Trouble with OpenOffice.org API Plugin and NetBeans 6
Hi, I'm using NetBeans 6 from Debian repository and vanilla OpenOffice SDK 2.4.0
CRITICAL # org.openoffice.extensions.util.ProjectCreator,line 524: /opt/openoffice.org2.4_sdk/linux/bin/uno-skeletonmaker: symbol lookup error: /opt/openoffice.org2.4_sdk/linux/bin/uno-skeletonmaker: undefined symbol: _ZN4_STL7codecvtIcc15__stl_mbstate_tE2idE /opt/openoffice.org2.4_sdk/linux/bin/uno-skeletonmaker works fine itself; but I had to edit /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig; before this, it crashed with an error undefined symbol: _ZN4_STL7codecvtIcc15__stl_mbstate_tE2idE

Download available?
Sounds interesting but how to download? I live in the DR Congo and my access to the internet is via cyber-cafe, no way to connect my computer directly.

INFO: NetBeans 6 support
I would like to inform all users of our plugin that we will provide a new version that supports NetBeans 6 as soon as possible. We have to fix some minor issues first and our plan is to provide an updated version at the beginning of next year. Sorry for the delay! You can help to improve the plugin by giving feedback. A short email (to juergen.schmidt at sun dot com) describing for what you use the plugin and how it simplifies your daily work would help to focus on future improvements and new versions for newer NetBeans versions in time.
Thanks Juergen

It would be great if we had a tutorial/demo of the OOo plugin
You folks could even use this award-winning tutorial (really!) as a guide:

RE: How can I download it?
David is right. We are working on publishing the OpenOffice.org API Plugin on NetBeans 6.0 Update Center as well. Firstly we need to make sure everything works fine in 6.0 though. Thanks for your patience!

RE: How can I download it?
I just checked and the plugin is available on the NetBeans 5.5.x update center. I guess it has not yet been added to the NetBeans 6.0 update center. Maybe they have not tested it with 6.0 yet. I would encourage you to send an email to dev@api.openoffice.org asking about 6.0.

How can I download it?
Hello,
I cannot download it from any source - button Download on this page gives me wiki, where is said, I must download it by Netbeans Update Center, but I cannot see "OpenOffice.org API Plugin" there. I have NetBeans IDE 6.0 Preview (M9)
