This plugin adds pure Java PDF support to NetBeans. Not only does it offer the most comprehensive Java PDF viewer available (with scaling, search capabilities, support for all PDFs and not just a small subset), it also allows you to bookmark your own PDFs for easy access and even to open PDFs on the Internet. Its free and its regularly updated. NetBeans version also includes a PDF2JavaFX convertor

Introduction
PDF files become a supported filetype with a graphical display, search option and a navigation tab if the file has an outline. Just open any file from a menu or double-click or use the bookmark feature. This allows you to bookmark PDFs from your machine or the Internet so they are easily accessible and referenced (PDFs from the Internet are cached on your machine for speed).

If you want to add full PDF support to your applications, there is an excellent step-by-step tutorial showing how you can do this in NetBeans with the full JPedal library.
You can also add help to your application with searchable PDF files using PDFhelp.

Looks like something changed in 6.9 we missed :-(
Will look at it for next release. Code is Open Source so you are welcome to download and have a look if you wish.

there is a problem with shorcut?
Hi,
I tried today on my WinXP machine with NB 6.9 and really liked this plugin. The only thing that I didn't able to do is the keyboard shorcut. ctrl + shift + d.

pdf-locking
We will have a release shortly which should fix this and update the plugin to latest (much faster release)

pdf-files are locked after viewing
Many thanks - a very nice plugin.
If a pdf is viewed in netbeans and then the window is closed the file is still locked, Could this be changed?
