Introduction
The plugin uses java 5 API to check the status of 3 proxies used in IIIT allahabad and return the alive ones .
It insert a entry(ping your proxy) in tools menuof the Netbeans IDE and a shortcut to that(Ctrl+Alt+P), on invoking which result in a popup message box displaying the working proxies and time taken in query, the plugin is not implemented as statuswithin IDE because it will be an overhead over an already burgeoning IDE
the plugin is truly useful only in IIIT allahabad, but can be easily altered to suit your needs adn just to just status if you are outside the college LAN
