Introduction

A set of samples for learning how to use the VisualVM APIs.

How to get started:

  1. Download and install the plugin.
  2. Register VisualVM 1.0 RC as the NetBeans Platform under Tools | NetBeans Platform in NetBeans IDE 6.1.
  3. Go to the New Project wizard and open the VisualVM sample of your choice, from under the Samples category:

  4. Make sure that VisualVM is set as the module's target platform (right-click the project node, choose Properties, and look in the Libraries node).
  5. Run the module. VisualVM should then start up and install your module. Then you should see the functionality it provides.
  6. Go back to the sources and learn from them and adapt them to your needs.

Yes

Yes, it works with VisualVM 1.3.3 and it installs without a problem in NetBeans 7.

Hi all,

Do this 2008 sample code work with VisualVM 1.3.3?
Is there a version that works with NetBeans 7?
